Patricia Collene Johnson

Archdale – Patricia Collene Hayworth Johnson, formerly of Meadowbrook Apt died on Friday, April 20th, 2018. Patricia Collene was born on November 20th, 1932 to Henry and Flora Hayworth who preceded her in death.

Patricia is also preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Hayworth and his wife Pauline.

She was married to Ellis Grey Johnson on March 6th, 1954. Ellis later passed on January 29th, 1982. She and her husband built their home on Meredith Drive in Archdale, North Carolina. After her husband passed, she moved to Meadowbrook Apt in 1993.

She went to Grammar School at Oak View School and graduated from High Point Central High School in 1951. She went to Wilmore, Kentucky to Ashbury College for 2 years.

She retired from Trinity High School cafeteria; then worked 12 years at NC Garment in High Point, North Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her daughter, Sherri Johnson and son, Ellis Lee Johnson of Trinity, North Carolina; her grandchildren Michael Lee Bates of Texas; Jody Moore of Lenoir, North Carolina, Shane Austin Johnson of High Point, North Carolina and Joseph Lee Johnson of Trinity, North Carolina and Erin Barnes of Reidsville, North Carolina; three great-great grandsons, Brandon Lee Bates and Colton Lee Bates of Texas, and Colson Gabriel Johnson of Archdale, North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews on both the Johnson and Hayworth families.

Memorial contributions can be made in Patricia's name to Woodlawn Baptist Church of High Point.

A visitation for Patricia will be held from 1pm to 2pm on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at Sechrest Funeral Service of High Point. A graveside service will follow at Guilford Memorial Park at 2pm, Pastor Josh Gentle officiating.
