Patti Nagle attended Judson Baptist College in Portland, Oregon for one year and then married Steven S. Paschall on November 5, 1966. They moved to Rhode Island for Officer's Candidate School and then were assigned to Honolulu where her first child, Matthew was born in 1968 at Tripler Naval Hospital.

Following active duty in the US Navy, Patti moved to San Diego, CA in 1970. They were members of Scott Memorial Baptist Church and were involved in choir and Sunday School. While in San Diego, she had 3 more children. The twins, Jeff and Joel, born January 15, 1971 and Sarah, born April 17, 1973.

While in North County San Diego, Patti developed her love for tennis. She became an active member of the tennis club and played recreationally in women's tournaments.

In 1986, she separated and later re-married Barton "Lou" Lab on April 4, 1987. Patti and Lou met playing tennis. Patti and Lou loved hiking, traveling, collecting and creating art. She was an avid painter, jewelery maker and glass artist with a kiln and studio on their property. They moved from Ramona, CA to Las Vegas, NV in 2008 following a big fire.

In Las Vegas, Patti attended Green Valley Calvary Chapel and co-founded a non-profit charity, Northern Light Ministry serving families and churches in Baja Mexico. Patti and Lou made several trips across the border and served on the Board with her brother and sister-in-law Don & Ilene Nagle.

She was known for her hospitality and kindness, welcoming foreign exchange students from Japan, Korea and Sweden. One student, Karin Higwall from Stockholm stayed with the family for an entire year. Patti traveled to France and Budapest to visit her oldest son who serves with his family in mission work.

Lou and Patti were married 34 years, until he passed away July 25, 2021. She is the grandmother of 12 grandchildren (Jacob, Clarisa, Shane and Adelaide, Josh, Jordan, Andrew, Allison, Ben, Beau, C.J. and Chloe) and 11 great-grand children.

Dear family,
I´m so sorry for your loss. I remembered your mom always seemed to have a smile on her face. My late husband, Jim Adkins was the junior high pastor and had o think all of you come through the junior high department. May you feel Gods peace in the upcoming difficult days.
Love and blessings, Marleen (Jim) Adkins

I have very fond memories of the Nagle family. I was the alto in the traveling trio in Tacoma, Washington and spent many hours in their home there.
My condolences to you at the loss of such a warm, gifted and gracious woman of faith.

Words are never enough. I want you to know that your mom was loved and appreciated by me. I think of my early days in Powys and how much it meant that she was there for me. My fondest memories of my time with your mom was after EFCC choir practice we (your mom, Carol Rasmussen, and myself) would go to Coco´s for snacks and we would laugh and of course solve all the problems of the world. It was a difficult time for both us, but we still found time for fun and laughter. I cannot be there today, but my thoughts and prayers are there with you as you grieve. Love to you all

My wonderful and kind-hearted host mother,

I am deeply grateful to have been welcomed into your family. You always made me feel at home, and your warmth and love have been a shining example to me, especially as I raise my own sons. I will treasure the precious memories we shared forever, and your spirit will remain in my heart always .
