McHENRY - Patricia Lasko, 69, of McHenry, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, in Sycamore.
She was born March 12, 1935, in Chicago, to Raymond and Helen (Davidenko) Smith. On Jan. 26, 1957, in Chicago, she married Roger C. Lasko.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and St. Mary's Council of Catholic Women, Lakeland Park Women's Club, and McHenry Genealogy Society. She also was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a secretary for Lakeland Park Home Owners Association, a Valley View PTO-Chairman of Ways and Means from 1969 to 1971, a playground supervisor of Hilltop School, and a volunteer at Home of the Sparrow Thrift Shop.
She graduated from Gage Park High School in 1953 and had been a long-distance operator for Illinois Bell in Chicago.
Survivors include her husband; three children, Scott (Melissa) Lasko of Pewaukee, Wis., Donna (Jim Pfeiffer) Lasko of Chicago and Carol (Steve) Jarecki of McHenry; six grandchildren, Nathanial Lasko, Stephen Lasko, Claire Lasko, Katherine Lasko, Brian Jarecki and Brandon Jarecki; and four step-grandchildren, Julie Certa, Margie Pfeiffer, Jaime Nolan and Maureen Pfeiffer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Richard Lasko.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. Prayers will be said at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at the funeral home and proceed for 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church.
Interment will be private in Woodland Cemetery.
