Patricia McTaggart Obituary
McTAGGART _ Patricia December 19, 1952 - June 20, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia on June 20th after a lengthy and courageous battle with leukemia. She leaves behind her best friend, golfing partner and husband of 34 years, Patrick, daughter Melissa, son Erin (Karen), mother Marie Antoinette, sisters Denise (Dave), Judy (Ben), Wendy (Trevor), Laurie (Hal), brother Warren (Diana) and their families and many friends. She is predeceased by her father, Joseph Randall, mother-in-law Mabel McTaggart and father-in-law Charles McTaggart. Patricia led a life full of love, laughter and golf. Her strength and courage amazed all those who surrounded her and will be carried on through the lives of her children. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Dr. Michael Barnett, Dr. Linda Vickers and their entire teams. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 30th at North Lonsdale United Church in North Vancouver at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hematology Clinical Trials Unit c/o VGH & UBC Hospital Fund at 855 West 12th, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 1N9.

Patrick, & your wonderful family, I am truly & deeply sorry for your loss. I have memories of Patricia as a wonderful mother,wife & as an indepent woman who wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Patricia we will surely miss you! It has been our pleasure to have been a member of the North Shore Red Sock gang with you and Patrick. Our hearts are filled with grief for all of you. We are here to aid in the difficult journey ahead as Patricia watches from above. As Blake stated "I am sure Grams is happy to have her friend in heaven with her - they are probably sitting under a flowery tree having a coke".
