Patricia Ann Morton

Patricia Ann Collins Morton went to join her husband & parents in Heaven on August 21, 2017. Pat was born on September 2, 1941 in Liberty, Texas to Edd & Josephine Collins. Her beloved husband, Charles & parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her only son Kit Morton & grandsons Jesse Morton, Rylen Morton, Justin Pagel & wife Danielle all from Mont Belvieu, TX. She is also survived by her sister Darlene Chamberlain from Hardin, TX & brother Joe Collins from Centerville, TN. Nieces & nephews from the area along with other surviving relatives. A special thank you to the Cervantes & Burns families who have always treated Pat like family.
Pat was a retired school teacher, teaching for Barbers Hill ISD the majority of her career. She was a member of Old River Baptist Church & a member of Texas Retired Teachers Association. She loved children & volunteered many hours at the school mentoring students after she retired. She was an avid reader & loved her puzzle books. She enjoyed watching her grandsons grow into caring young men.
Visitation will be from 11:30 - 1:00pm on Friday August 25, 2017, with service to follow at 1:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home in Baytown, TX. Burial services will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown, TX. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Charles Morton.
