Patricia (Pat) E. Muth (nee Konas), age 90, was born in Chicago on August 15, 1934 and entered into eternal life on October 4, 2024 at her home in Westmont, IL. Beloved wife of William R. Muth, loving mother of William (Mary), Karen (Stephen) Allred, Ellen (Robert) Gregg, Ann (Matthew) Sultemeier, Diane (Joseph Shultz) Duquette, David, and Lisa (Patrick) Ryan. Loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, great grandmother, friend and confidant to many. Patricia was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Parents, Joseph and Stefania Konas, and siblings, Joseph, Henry, and Theresa are united once again in heaven. Patricia and William were married in Chicago on April 24,1954. This is when she began fulfilling her calling as a loving and devoted wife and caring mother. After having six children, they moved to Westmont where they created their forever home and had their seventh child. Patricia spent the next fifty plus years creating a loving home and nurturing environment for her family. She was known for her boundless and unconditional love, patience, kindness, and supportive spirit. Patricia stood alongside her husband as the foundational pillar of the family. In addition to her many gifts, Patricia was a fantastic cook, avid gardener, bridge player, and lover of cards and new games played with family and friends. She was a woman truly dedicated to her Catholic faith, her husband, her children, and the loving home she created. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 9:30 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 111 S. Cass Avenue, Westmont, IL. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to The Garden Club of Downers Grove, where Patricia was a member for over 25 years.
