Larry was a kind and gentle man. He had many friends and kept close to them. His dear niece,
Karen Scaletty took good care of him during his last years. He said over and over that he didn't know what he would have done without her. He was of course very grateful.
Lou Heilman,cousin by marriage.

Bubble gum ice cream after a wonderful dinner and show at Starlight. Driving around downtown Kansas City looking at the colors of the lights on the KCPL building. Christmas Eve with you and Mrs Scaletty eating nice foods and opening surprise gifts. These are a few of the wonderful childhood memories I have of you and Mrs Scaletty. Thank you for your kindness and for the fun times. We will always hold these memories near and dear forever. With love to you both always, Belinda Blake (neighbors from 6141 Oak, daughter of Sue Blake)

My Uncle Larry was one of a kind !!!!
Funny, giving, ornery, full of wisdom, memories, loves dogs, stubborn, loves to eat, laugh, and is always the life of the party !!!
He will be taking care of my Mother, Bernita Jo Mangiaracina, Uncle Bill, and Uncle Johnny too !!!
I am going to miss him dearly, as I said before, he was truly one of a kind, gentleman, and an Uncle that was unmatchable !!!
LOVE YOU UNCLE LARRY .......................
