Patricia Dell Powers

Patricia Dell Powers July 13, 1945 ~ January 19, 2023 ~ Pat Powers, nee Shumate, a native Coloradan born at Glocken Penrose Hospital. Married John T, Powers and became an airforce wife. They were blessed with two children. Pat graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1964. She worked for the Army and Airforce Exchange Service for 23 years, retiring in 2005. Patricia was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; her parents; Thomas and Maryanne Shumate; brother; Thomas W. Shumate; daughter; Jeanette Powers. She is survived by her Son: John Patrick (Cruz); and four grandchildren; Berry, Haley, Karly, and Conner. Her Partner Marty Cooper; Brother; William Shumate (Marsha); Sisters Jane McCabe (Don); Suzanne Baker (Jeff); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank Sunrise Assisted Living and all of the wonderful people who loved and took care of her. Family and Friends will gather on July 13th prior to the funeral. Funeral will be held on July 14th 2023, at Our Lady of The Pines catholic church
