Services for Patricia "Pat" Ann Rains, 62, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for Monday, April 18, 2011, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Danny Bristow officiating. Burial will be in Bayou Scie Cemetery, Zwolle, La., at 4 p.m. under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rains went to be with her Lord and Savior April 15, 2011, in Tyler. She was born Aug. 2, 1948, in Jacksonville. She retired from Suddenlink in 2007 after a career in communications. She loved God and all of her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She felt blessed to have many friends who visited her during her time of illness.

Survivors include loving husband of 44 years, Gordon Rains of Brownsboro; sons, Luke Rains and wife Jamie of Brownsboro, Chuck Rains of Brownsboro; sisters, Charlene Phillips and husband Larry of Kilgore, Judy Barr and husband Mike of Tyler; and grandchildren, Matthew Rains, Christopher Rains, Claire Rains, Austin Israel and Riley Rains.

Pallbearers will be Sandy Wyatt, Ricky Wyatt, Greg Wyatt, Conley Cade, Wally Allsip and Howard Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ben Tompkins and Jimmy Allen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 130577, Tyler, 75713.
