Patricia Regan Gardner Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 13, 2025.
Patricia Regan "Pat" Gardner, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on April 5, 2025, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was 70 years old.

Born on February 4, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Patricia was the daughter of William and Mary Regan. From an early age, she demonstrated a deep compassion for others-a quality that would define her life and career. Patricia pursued a calling in nursing, dedicating herself to the care and comfort of others with unwavering commitment. Her work as a nurse touched countless lives and left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to be under her care.

Patricia's greatest joy came from her family. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Walter James "Jim" Gardner. Together they raised two children, Matthew and Katie. Her role as a grandmother brought her immense happiness; she cherished every moment spent with Madison and Trevor. Patricia also remained close to her brothers Bill Regan and Tom Regan and held dear the memory of her late sister Janice Capone.

Family gatherings were often filled with laughter and warmth thanks to Patricia's presence. She had a special bond with her many beloved nieces and nephews who will remember her kindness and spirited nature.

Outside of her professional life, Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, whose energy and love brought light into her days. Cruises offered her moments of relaxation and adventure-experiences she treasured deeply. Her love for flowers and gardens reflected her nurturing spirit; she found peace among blooming petals and green spaces. Whether piecing together puzzles or watching birds from the window, Patricia embraced quiet moments with grace.

Those who knew Patricia were inspired by her fighting spirit-a strength that uplifted everyone around her during times of hardship. Her resilience became a source of courage for others, reminding them to face challenges head-on with hope and determination.

Patricia Regan Gardner leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and enduring love. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

So sorry for your loss, Pat was my close friend growing up, and we went all through grade school and high school together. She will be missed.
