On November 5, 2022, Patricia (Pat) Reichert died in Littleton, Colorado after a long battle with cerebellar ataxia. She was 71 years old.
Pat was born on February 15, 1951, in Harvey, Illinois. She graduated from Marian High School in 1968 and went on to attend Barnes Business College of Denver where she graduated with a degree in accounting. Pat left Illinois in 1968 after High School and moved to Denver. She was the perfect spokesperson for Colorado, sharing with everyone her love of the scenery, the mountains, and the ever-changing weather.
Pat was an impressive golfer, who loved sharing her love of the sport with everyone around her. She traveled often, golfing at some of the best courses around the country. Spending time with her family was important to her, she rarely missed the opportunity to visit with her siblings and many nieces and nephews. Pat was fortunate when she met Sandi (Rog) and Kelli (Linville) when they were children. She brought these wonderful girls into her family and loved them as her own. A favorite pastime of Pats was to talk about growing up in Chicago and tell old family stories while drinking Miller Lite.
In her professional like, Pat broke the glass ceiling as a female Vice President of ET LaFore Construction. Pat was an amazing person who will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Pat is survived by Ron Reichert (brother), Alice Woodall (sister), Ann Gagliardi (sister), Jeanee Reichert (sister) Debra Reichert (sister), Mary Reichert (sister), Susan Reichert (Sister), as well as over 50 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Lucille and Russell Reichert (parents), Frank Reichert (brother), Carol Weiss (sister), Jim Reichert (brother), Tom Reichert (brother).
A memorial service will be held on a later date. The family asks that donations be made to Heifer International in lieu of flowers. This organization was important to Pat due to their work in providing long term support to villages in third world countries.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Pat at CH2M Hill and she taught me several things regarding international accounting. I so enjoyed listening to her and Doris have animated discussions on accounting processes and issues. She will be missed.

Pat was an amazing sister. Her love and generosity touched so many lives. My heart is breaking, but soon I will pick myself up as she would want me to do and let the lessons she’s taught me infuse my own life. I’m grateful for many wonderful memories through both easy and difficult times. She was a rock!
