Patricia Riley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 2, 2025.
Patricia Riley was welcomed home by her Savior at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Slayback/Dobbs. Her parents Owens/Thayer, and her grandson Nicholas Beatty.

She is survived by her 5 children, Randall Beatty, Virginia Beatty, Jacqueline Kuka, Carolyn (John) Casucci, Gail Riley. Her grandchildren, Joel(Lisa) Andritsch, Jason Andritsch, Jessica ( Austin) Paxton, Adam Bultman, Katie (Jacob) Rummler, and many wonderful great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Patsy was raised by her grandparents in LaFarge, WI. She pursued a degree in Physical Education from LaCrosse,WI and enjoyed playing alto saxophone in the marching band.

God's love light shown brightly through her caring nature, and was evident in the way she treated everyone she met.

Pat's creativity and joy for life we're continually expressed in so many ways. Some family memories include: playing "Sentimental Journey" on the piano, big weekend meals after Church, making popcorn with lots of butter and homemade fudge on movie night. Long car trips to visit family while singing "This Land is your Land" while wearing her white "Gilligan" hat and sunglasses. She loved to bake and was famous for her lemon meringue and banana cream pies, Angel food cake and Chocolate Cake with homemade marshmallow frosting, homemade pizzas and her generous gifts of beautifully decorated cookies at Christmas.

Mom had a wonderful sense of humor and playfulness. Seatbelt races with the grandkids, ping-pong games on the Diningroom table. She encouraged everyone to plant a strawberry patch, loved giving piano and tennis lessons to anyone who wanted them, dancing the Cha-Cha or singing in the kitchen she found a way to celebrate each moment and to pour faith, love of music and writing into all of her children.

We are Thankful and have been Blessed by her presence in our lives and while she will be truly missed, we are happy she is home with the Lord, that she so trusted and loved.

With grateful hearts, and Thanksgiving to all those at Lake Country Landing and North Shore Hospice and also to those who poured a living faith into mom's life in this past Year, a huge Thank you. To the Caregivers that kept mom in popcorn and root beer, you truly were the hands and feet of Jesus.

From the whole family,

We Humbly give Thanks and Praise God for You who touched mom's life this past year

God Bless You Always!

A private family service will take place at a later date.
