Patricia's wishes were to be cremated following the service and burial of her cremated remains will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the service at Schriver's Memorial Fellowship Center.
A prayer service will be 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at the mortuary.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday, all at the mortuary.
Patricia passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital.
Patricia A. Nelson was born Feb. 1, 1938, to Corliss and Rose Christine (Kabusreiter) Nelson in Aberdeen, where she was raised, attended Sacred Heart Parochial School and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in May 1956. She worked for the Aberdeen National Bank for several years.
Pat married Lloyd W. Miller on May 3, 1958, in Aberdeen. They continued to make Aberdeen their home and raised four children: Russell, Char, Chris and Charice. Lloyd passed away Feb. 17, 1973. She later started working for the Aberdeen Holiday Inn, where she was employed for a short time.
Pat married John Rombs Jr. on April 5, 1976, at Aberdeen and John's two children, Chuck and Peggy, were added to the family. Pat was most recently employed with Aman Collection Agency until she retired.
Pat was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. She enjoyed antiquing and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving Pat are her husband, John, of Aberdeen; her children: Russell (Sherry) Miller and their children, Josh and Erica, of Sioux Falls; Char Miller of Aberdeen; Chris (Pudge) Andriash and their children, Heather and Hope, of Sioux Falls; and Charice (Jeff) Horaeck and their son, Shaye, of Sioux Falls; Chuck (Sheila) Rombs and their children, Jason, Jennifer and Alisha, of Aberdeen; Peggy (John) Gruenstein and their children, Cassandra, Shannon and Markus, of Aberdeen; a brother Gene (Cindy) Wolter of Aberdeen; a sister, Laura Coil Aitkin, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Connie (Bud) Kopecky of Mina; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her paternal father, Corliss Nelson; her father and mother, Ray and Rose Wolter; her first husband, Lloyd; one sister, Ita; and three brothers, Warren, Larry and Terry.
Casketbearers will be Doug Coil, Pudge Andriash, Jeff Horaeck, Tom Johannsen, Willis Heiser and Randy Kantack. Honorary casketbearers will be all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Dave Herman.

I worked with Pat for only a year and half, but enjoyed every day that I knew her. Pat was an amazing friend and I am a better person for knowing her. May she now find eternal peace and comfort.
