Patricia Ann McCarthy Salvati
Our beautiful Patricia peacefully passed away on June 19th, 2017 in Stuart, FL with her loving family by her side.
Patricia was born in New Haven, CT on October 28, 1937 to the late Daniel McCarthy and Helene Coffey McCarthy. She graduated from Saint John the Baptist Grammar School and from Sacred Heart Academy, then located on Wooster Square in New Haven, CT.
Patricia married her high school sweetheart, Fred Salvati on July 7, 1957. Her passing comes just 17 days shy of their 60 year wedding anniversary. In 1963, Pat and Fred settled in Trumbull, where they would spend the next 53 years creating a wonderful, loving and fun life for their four children. Throughout her entire life, Pat poured her whole heart and soul into her family. Doing so was her amazingly unselfish life's work and her greatest joy. A loving, caring, strong, passionate and proud wife, mom, sister and "Mimi", we will all treasure her forever in our hearts.
Patricia is lovingly survived by her husband Fred, their four children and five grandchildren: Michael, wife Robin and daughter Lindsay; Stephen; David and daughter, Ava; and Lisa Previti, husband Chris and children Rachael, Sarah and Matthew. She is also survived by her sister Eileen and brother-in-law William Howes and nephew, William and her cousin and lifelong friend, Eileen Pommer of Hamden, CT.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her best friend, Carole Capozziello, who kept her laughing through all of life's ups and downs.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Trumbull, CT on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be private.
