I just came across this while looking up old friends. My condolences to Patty's family and friends. We met at SMS High School thru a mutual friend. She had the greatest smile, and had a razor sharp wit. I actually came across the HS picture she gave me just a couple of days ago. Decided to look her up. Again, my regards to her family... and to my own precious memory of her.

Patty dated Rick Gaskill, from Kinsley, Kansas in the fall of 1970. Rick's family and mine were close in that community. Rick asked if I would come to K-State for a weekend as a senior in high school to stay at the Tri-Delta house with Patty. She showed me all over Manhattan, even drove me out to Tuttle Creek. I even went to church with her the Sunday morning I was there. I was so in love with the notion of Tri-Delta after staying with her that I knew that's where I wanted to pledge that following fall. I did...and that was 44 years ago. She was such a beautiful girl and made such an impression on me. Your family is in my heart and prayers...so very sad to hear this.

My thoughts and prayers to your family in the loss of Patty. She was truly a lovely women and will be missed by all who knew her. It was my privilege to be Patty's pledge mother, roommate and friend at the Tri Delta house and later as her maid of honor. Though we were separated by miles, we tried to keep in touch over the years. Again, my heartfelt condolences on your loss.
