Patricia White Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 29, 2025.
Salem - Patricia "Patty" Lynn White was born on November 24, 1958 to Laurel and Judy Walther in McMinnville, Oregon. She peacefully passed away on August 9, 2025 in Salem, Oregon.

She grew up and spent her entire life in the Willamette Valley and attended McNary High School.

Patty's first child, Amber, was born in May 1980. Patty met the love of her life, John White, in 1982. Together they raised Amber and were married on November 2, 1986. John and Patty welcomed their second daughter, Maggie, in July 1994.

Patty worked off and on throughout her life. She worked in a variety of healthcare positions over the years, including caring for people during their last days through Hospice as a CNA and phlebotomist. Most recently, Patty worked as a waitress at the Court Street Dairy Lunch alongside her brother Brian.

She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved reading, baking with her daughters and grandkids, decorating for every holiday, finding the best garage sale deals, animals, watching her beloved New York Yankees and being with her family.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law Roma and brother Brian.

Patty is survived by her husband John, daughter Amber (Casey), daughter Maggie (Samuel), grandchildren Noah, Lucas and a third due in December, brother Kevin, sister Kelly, cousin Sue, sister-in-law Michelle and many other loving family members.

Per Patty's wishes, no memorial service or funeral will be held. Instead, she wished for her body to be donated to science in an effort to continue helping those in the medical field.
