My sincere condolences go to Patrick's family and friends. I've known Patrick since I was 6, and even though we didn't see each other often, he was always happy and smiling whenever I'd run into him. He will be greatly missed.

Helen and I have just returned to Halifax from Montreal. We feel blessed that we had the opportunity to share in the celebration of Patrick's life.
Among many other things, I will miss that young man who had the ability to make me laugh at any time, with his dry sense of humour and dead-pan face.
