Dear Doyle Family/Friends,
Buck was six years old, same age as my baby sister, when Sister Jeanne(Angela Doyle) brought me to Neola to meet the Doyles! I was sad to hear the news of Buck's death. Though we have been out of touch for many years, the Doyle family was an important part of my life for over 25 years and all the good memories of great times are still strong. I feel that I should be there with you all and would be, if I could. Please know that my thoughts and prayers for your comfort are with you. Love, Dee (Devlin, O'Neill) McFadden

To my second family~ I'll never forget the first time I met Buck, he was born when we were in Colorado. Loving Diane (as a babysitter and second mother) I couldn't wait to get back to Neola to get my hands on another "darling" Doyle baby.
He was cuddled in a blanket in a crib in the front room. Barb couldn't wait for me to start babysitting.I couldn't wait to start.I will always be grateful to Barb for allowing me to treasure Nibs, Diane and Buck as though they were my younger siblings. In my heart all the Doyles are my family.
I love Buck and he will always remain a part of my heart. I wish I was there to share in this time of sorrow, but I hope you can imagine my presence there with all of you. We will survive this time because that is what Buck, Barb, Dan Eve and Dutch would expect of us. My grandson's Liam and Nathan are sad that the last words Buck said to them was " bye guys see you next summer..."
Jamie and Fiz stay strong I know how much you'll miss your best buddy!

Buck was a great guy. Always well mannered and polite around me. We had some interesting talks. Usually about animals and Cuey. We both had alove of the earth and our talks would sometime center around his garden. He had the best smile and could get you to smile even if you were having a bad day. Every time Ron would take me along to see the Robinsons, I would always ask about Buck. I felt like he was part of their family too. One time he asked us to come over and you could see the love he still had for his mom as he showed me pictures and other memorabilia. A kind and gentle soul who will be missed!

Barb Doyle's and Ev Robinson's kids were more like brothers and sisters than across-the-alley neighbors. When Dori (the former Miss Doris Robinson) and I returned in 1972 from our USAF tour overseas, the Doyles and Robinsons 'adopted' me too. Our son Jason is 10 years Buck's senior, and Buck was a good big kid’ that he adored. After J. grew up and moved away, Buck was my frequent companion whenever I visited Neola. Our daughter, too, appreciated Buck friendship. He was always gentle and generous. We will all miss him very much. He was a good man.

To the Doyle families;
May your many memories help you through this difficult time. I know there are many. Buck was a very special person. Barb was so lucky to have him as her caregiver. You would drive by the house and they would all be sitting out in the yard. They always had a wave whenever anyone drove by. My sympathy to you all.
