Patrick "Pete" Elliott, 26, of Phoenix, Arizona formerly of West Frankfort, IL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born May 25, 1982, in West Frankfort, to Dick and Vickilyn (Galli) Elliott. He was employed by Independent Events in Phoenix, AZ as a sound engineer. He had a passion for music and enjoyed working in the music industry. Patrick is survived by his parents, Dick and Vickilyn Elliott of West Frankfort; brothers, Eric Elliott and wife, Jennifer and their children, Jacob, Lexilyn and Sydney of West Frankfort and Ty Elliott and his wife, Elizabeth and their children, Anna Beth, Grace, Lindy, Trey, Aaron, Nicholas and Reese Ann of Herrin; paternal grandmother, Jeanette Elliott of Johnston City; maternal grandparents, Albert and Janet Galli of Cape Coral, Florida; aunts, Karen and husband, Jerry Cadle, of Marion and Tracy Elliott of Johnston City; uncles, Jim and wife, Pat Galli of West Frankfort and Kenny Lewis of Branson, Missouri; close friend and cousin, Matthew Galli; and girlfriend, Morgan Huntley of Phoenix, Arizona. Patrick also had several close friends throughout the country. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill Elliott and paternal aunt, Pattie Lewis. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008, in Denning Cemetery in West Frankfort, with Rev. Mike Cash officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at the First Baptist Church in West Frankfort with a luncheon immdiately following. All are welcomed to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alice Cooper Kids Camp and accepted at the Union Funeral Home. Union Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
