Uncle PJ,
A loving father,brother and uncle to us all.
Here in Ireland and the US we will miss your presence greatly. Your loving siblings Margaret Thomas and Ann are here watching with you all. Gone are the days of heading for a spin to Ardara. Gone are the days of you being here and bringing all your help and support to us all. There is a few funny stories that Mum filled me in on. Like the time you and Neil had to walk home from Glenties after a dance and Grandad giving out after the car broke down. Gone are the days that you went fishing setting the net with Seamus! You were always a rock in our family and we will all miss you dearly. We all had fun times when we heard the relations from Eastbourne were coming home. We are all here with you all . Lots of love from us all in Ireland and the US. So sorry we couldn't be there xxx

Took my breath away hearing of PJs passing, We knew each other, but not enough.... I feel it's such an immense loss for so many he loved and touched in his life.... Goodbye and RIP my friend

PJ was such a special man
A treasure through and through
Genuine, kind and honourable,
A diamond, there are few.
He worked his years, With no complaints
In fact, he worked much more
And always on coming home
A big smile came through the door
He always made time for others,
To the detriment of his own
His compassion was endless
His love shared with all we know.
Our Hearts are broken in pieces
His parting has left us floored.
The Ache inside unbearable
Thats how much he was adored.
We must see through this grief now
And think only of happier times
Fill our hearts with memories,
Let love and laughter fill our minds
The honour and the privilege
Of sharing life with him
Will help us through this tragedy
God Bless His Soul
Amen.
Our time together became limited
Our 16 years went in a whirl
Our love will remain endless
When these future years unfurl.
