To the Maxwell Family:
My prayers are with you at this very difficult time. My husband, Alan, had worked with Pat a few years back during Pat's career transition and they became fast friends. Unfortunately, my husband passed earlier this year under similar circumstances, and I offer you the comfort that your memories (and your friends/family) will bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Be blessed.

Dear Cathy and the entire Maxwell Family,
I am so sad to hear of Pat's passing. My fondest memories are of growing up with you on Boxwood Circle, especially when the whole group of us got together for a game of "kick the can." These are treasured memories for sure.
This passage from St. Paul's second letter to Timothy 4:7-8 is for Pat:
"I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness awaits me, which the Lord, the just judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but to all who have longed for his appearance."
God bless you all and keep you in his peace.

Pat was a great friend at Middlebury and an attendant in our wedding 28 years ago. We have so many wonderful memories of times we spent together. The guys had a lot of laughs together. Their annual drive from Vermont to Florida was a highlight. Our hearts are broken for you all. We wish you strength in the days ahead. Pat was one of a kind!!

Maxwell Family,
Ryan, Bobby and myself are saddened by your loss. Your Dad shared a wealth of knowlege in regards to the game of hockey. Every time I got a chance to talk to him while watching you play hockey he would teach me something else that I didn't know about the game. He will be missed. Hang in there kid.

Maxwell Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. My favorite memories of growing up are always things our families did together - like Pat & Jim playing Little League with our dad's coaching. To The Maxwell Family:
I was devastated by the news of Patrick’s passing. We worked together in the late 70’s while we were both beginning our careers. Patrick was always a professional, respectful gentleman. I was fortunate to run into him after work, last week, in downtown. He was with his brother John and I was with their cousin Patricia. We shared a pleasant conversation in which Patrick spoke fondly of his Mother.
Please know how sorry I am that this great loss has happened to your family.
With sympathy,
