I just learned of Pats and JD´s passing, knew them at St Louis parish and school. I´m so sorry, that family was fantastic to be around!

I have the fondness of memories of Pat McCaslin. We were on the wrestling team together at Englewood High School in 1966. I can still remember his warm smile and strong work ethic. May God give his family and friends peace in this time of mourning.

Pat was a wounderful guy. He would shovel the walks for us. Even when he was sick he came over and took a stump out for us. Loved watching him in the yard with the grand kids he was a great guy miss you. Love you from Barb ,Gary ,Kim Donaho.

Someone said....Everyone has a friend during each stage of life. But only the lucky ones have the same friend in all stages of life. I was lucky to be his brother. He was my best friend. He influenced my life in many ways. I was lucky to have such a role model, mentor, teacher, story teller and all around good guy. His contributions to our family will not be forgotten. Among them his generosity, kindness, wit and humor. Our lives were truely blessed to have such a wonderful person in our lives.

I only knew Pat for a short time from reffing with him in the Archdiocese widget basketball league. In that short time, I was impacted by his kindness to all, his thoughtfulness, and his passion for sharing the love of the game. Even at his older age he had a childlike joy and enthusiasm that was so fun to be around. Even as we chatted between games he would proudly talk about "his girls" which were his granddaughters. I know his absence will be felt by many, but I am comforted by his witness of being such a great man. My prayers are with him and his family.

A number of you will remember this group from 1987. On the court, Pat was a tiger. Off the court, he was more like a Labrador retriever.
My best to all who knew and loved him.

May you Rest In Peace
A great man who always had time for you
A gentleman who had time to teach kids as a coach
Will definitely be missed but not forgotten
I am sure you are in God´s hands at this very moment
Sincerely

I didn't see Pat as often I liked, but when I did, I realized why I liked Pat so much. He was the best among us in every way. Enjoy the "great outdoors" upstairs my friend.

Pat is my backyard neighbor. I adore him and have enjoyed chatting with him over the fence over the years. I shared with him the parallels of our lives (down to my father named Pat and my mom named Joanne) and adored hearing him play with his grandkids in the yard. I will miss him immensely.

God Bless that Man, he gave me my first job at the consession stands at Sinclair pool, Bellview park and Centennial park. I had the pleasure to play with him in softball leagues. We will miss his home made chianti dressing every month. Pat was so thoughtful when Val got her vaccine injury in 2021 he called every week to see how she was doing and would bring lunch or dinner. We would talk sports and about our grand kids. He was my gutter Man in the fall and cleaned my gutters. Thanks Brother Pat, Your the Best. Lots of Love John and Val

Always loved to watch Pat wrestle and fool around with the team, EHS 65-66. He was such a nice guy, always smiling, always kind. The world is less without him.

Most recently in the last couple of years, Pat and I would have dinner once or twice during the year. I really enjoyed talking to him. I respected him so much. I worked for him at Cafe 410. He was and remains in the top 2 of the toughest bosses I have ever had. Working for him taught me pride in what I did, taught me being on time was late, taught me professionalism and customer service. I will miss him I will miss his laugh, I will miss our dinners. I'm glad I got to tell you I love you.

Love, Tonja
