In Loving Memory of Patrick Francis Nugent October 14, 1972 - July 22, 2025

He is survived by his mother, Mary Nugent, father, Patrick Nugent, his siblings William (wife Michelle) Joseph (wife Jessica) Erin (life partner Matthew) and Myles (wife Sarah) along with his nieces and nephews: Gwenevere, Liam, Connor, Eamon, Zoey, Jameson, Christopher, Cassidy, and Lucille. His dear Aunt & Uncle, Kay & Willy Sernesi. As well as all his friends that became his chosen family.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of traveling through life with him. He was born in London, England and often visited relatives in Ireland before making the big move to America in 1979. While in Ireland he would spend time at Pop and Granny's farm, creating memories that shaped his lifelong love of travel and the outdoors.

After settling in the Chicagoland area, Pat grew up in Park Ridge, where he spent his teenage years before eventually making his way west to Albuquerque and then Los Angeles, a place he came to love and called home.

Paddy cherished time with his friends, who were truly like family to him. He had a passion for the outdoors through all seasons as well as art, film, cinematography, music, and he was happiest when sharing these interests with others. Music was a constant in his life, either at a live concert or simply listening at home, it was never far from his ears. Whether he was in a comic book store, rooting on his Chicago hometown teams, at a concert, watching a favorite movie, or engaging in lively discussions with friends, Pat found joy in the simple connections of life.

He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his devotion to his friends, and the deep love he held for his family. Pat's presence will be missed by all whose lives he touched from the east coast to the west coast, and across the ocean - from one side of the channel to the other.

A memorial will be held on:

October 4th, 2025 from 1pm - 5pm with remembrances from 3-4pm
