Patrick Nunally Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 3, 2014.
Patrick William Nunally enjoyed his first sunrise on December 27, 1958 and his final sunset on July 1, 2014. He owned his own business, but the mainstays of his freetime were always his friends and family. Pat loved just spending time doing yardwork with Beth and the two seemed to embark on frequent projects to constantly perfect their home. In that loving home, Pat most loved taking naps, goofing around, reading, and supporting the local sports teams whenever possible, especially The Texans. The pride and joy of his life, Pat's daughters always knew their Daddy was simply, the best.

Welcoming Pat into peace are his father George Nunally and mother Maxine Truman, and father-in-law Thomas Perritte.

Carrying Pat's spirit in life are his wife Beth Nunally, daughters Malissia Nunally and Melanie Carpenter; son-in-law Brandon Carpenter and grandson Caden Carpenter. Mother-in-law Pauline Perritte; sister-in-law Peggy Strain; nephews Daniel Friskney and Homer Kyser and family; nieces Peggy Sue Daly and family and Jenniffer Friskney and family.

What a wonderful funny and loving person! My Uncle Pat had a great laugh and made any situation better by adding some humor and a great chuckle or smile! He was a great father to his girls and a one of a kind caring Uncle that was willing to make strides and share a story about anything and love to care for others without judgment... he will be missed by all that knew him. Who is gonna call me and razz me and my family over the Colts and Texan games? These are the things I will think of the great fun spirit! Love to everyone there in Houston! Jenniffer in Indiana

When Brandon told us he wanted to marry Melanie, we were thrilled!!! We were so excited to have her as a part of our family and I knew Brandon was excited to be joining hers. He had told us on numerous occasions that Pat and Beth were awesome!!! From the first time we met them, we knew Brandon was entering a wonderful family, but we didn't realize that we too would become as close a part of that family as we have. Pat and Beth have always made us feel loved and included in everything. I know some families are not close with their children's in-laws, but we have had a wonderful relationship with Brandon's and even spent this past Christmas together. Every get together, Pat was always smiling and cutting up. My heart hurts for Beth, Malissia, Melanie, Brandon, Caden and all of the family and I hope they will find some peace in their sweet memories of Pat. You can all find pride in knowing he was an amazing man who touched many lives. You are all in our thoughts and prayers and know we are near if you need anything. Love to all of you!!!

Pat will be missed dearly. It had been FOREVER since I'd seen him,but I remember him being the most fun, loving, funny, caring man/father/husband every time I was over at a sleepover with the girls. I'm sure he's cutting up and having a ball up on Heaven.

Well Mr. Pat I guess it was your time to go home, you were a good man and always had a smile on your face. Hell I can't remember a time that I didn't leave from you and Mrs. Beth's house without a smile on my face : ). It saddens my heart to know that your gone, but I grieve with a smile cause I know you've gone to a better place than the one you left. Rest in peace sir.
