Patrick O'Connor Obituary
Patrick was born on May 1, 1964 in Manhattan, NY to Daniel and Eileen O'Connor. He spent his early formative years in the Bronx with his parents and his four brothers until the O'Connor family moved to Glen Rock, NJ where he graduated from Glen Rock High School. During his adult years, he nurtured his passion for commercial aviation and airports, enjoyed time spent with family and friends, listened to music (especially Madonna) and traveled to places like California and France, but he most especially loved Rincon, Puerto Rico where the O'Connor family vacationed several years during his youth and he continued to visit as an adult. He also served on the Board of Directors at HDSW, Human Development Services of Westchester, where he was a strong advocate for the community which they serve.
Patrick is survived by his brothers and their families: Danny, Billy (wife Tracey and nieces Bailey and Dani), Mark (wife Laurie, nephew Patrick and niece Erin) and Terry (wife Aimee, nephew Jack and niece Megan). He is also survived by other Carroll and O'Connor family members and many friends that loved him dearly.
Funeral mass services will be held at St. Catharine's Church, 905 Maple Avenue, Glen Rock, NJ on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, Patrick's family requests donations be made to HDSW, Human Development Services of Westchester.

I am so sorry to hear about this. Also, how late this messages is. I´m met Patrick many many years ago through HD SW he always had a kind smile and a warm. Hello he and I got along very well. He always gave great hugs also. My sincerest condolences to his entire family and friends.

I am deeply saddened at the loss of Patrick whom I have known for the past 20 years. Patrick loved talking about his travels and planned adventures. He also loved talking about his family and nieces and nephews. Patrick had a great sense of humor and even when not feeling well he could make a pun or a joke and lighten his mood and mine. He shared photographs with me of his travels, friends and family. He was a very kindhearted person who will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Patricio was my Puertorican brother. He was a dear friend who will be missed. Patricio was a very gentle soul and brave man. We enjoyed the same music and knew all the lyrics to each song.

Patrick had an impish smile, and a zany sense of humor. He especially enjoyed punning. He said it was an "O´Connor Trait." He loved to tell stories about what it was like to grow up in a house with 4 brothers who were all close in age, and loved to joke around.
