Patrick John Stack Sr.

After a long battle with cancer, Patrick John Stack Sr. passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at his home in Kenner, LA. Pat was the beloved husband of Carol Saltamachia Stack for forty-seven years, and the loving father of Carol J. Stack, Patrick J. Stack Jr. (Sarah), and Eric M. Stack. He was also the adoring grandfather of Ava Marais Stack and James Patrick Stack. He was the son of the late Cletus M. Stack and Antoinette Sherling Stack. He is survived by six brothers and sisters: Antoinette Stack, Joseph Stack (Shirley), Elizabeth Najolia (Raymond), Michael Stack, Catherine Skeins (Edward), and John Stack (Paula). He is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Pat was an employee of Touro Infirmary in New Orleans for thirty-eight years, and upon his retirement, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Passages Hospice for their extraordinary care and compassion to Patrick and the family. Services will be private.
