Oh, my sympathies to family and friends. I was just thinking about Mrs. Cochran recently. What a lady! I fondly remember her at Stony Brook Elementary ... her genuine smile, hearty laugh, her contagious enthusiasm. She played piano for our 5th grade chorus and class plays, willing us to become the ensemble she knew we could be. She showed encouragement, patience and good classroom discipline. And occasionally told us tales of her family that let us know she lived well and loved you deeply.

Sympathies to the family of Patsy Cochran from a long ago piano student who remembers her so well after 60 years. She has surely left behind many of us who gained much from her kindness and guidance.
