Patsy Sue Hayes Obituary
Patsy was born on May 25, 1936, in Indiana to Lance Douglas and Margaret Douglas McArtor. She was the eldest of two children.
Patsy received her Bachelor's degree from Purdue University and ultimately retired as a speech therapist with Fairfax County School system.
On September 7, 1957, Patsy married her high school sweetheart John "Jack" Hayes. Patsy and Jack shared 63 years of marriage until Jack's passing in 2020. Patsy was a dedicated wife, and mother - family meant everything to her. Patsy was known to her friends and family as always bringing a contagious smile and a positive outlook throughout all of life's ups and downs.
Patsy is survived by her Children John Hayes (Kris) of Denver Colorado, Patrick Hayes of Richmond and David Hayes (Lori) of Spotsylvania, VA; five Grandchildren Riley, Hannah, Erin, Lura and Peter; Sister-in-law Ruth Hayes; cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband John, Parents Lance and Margaret and Brother Richard
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may be made through a donation to a favorite charity.
