Mrs. Patti Marie Carter

Mrs. Patti Marie Sanders Carter, age 61, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, July 29, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Patti was born July 5, 1951 in Houma, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Albert P. and Blanche DuPlantis Sanders. Patti was very proud of her Cajun heritage and loved Louisiana. She was an accountant and worked for Wal-Mart. She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Paul E. Carter of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Lavenia Heern of Warrensburg, MO, Tanya and Farren Holt of Cleveland, TN; granddaughter, Emily Grace Holt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene and Grant Dupre of Montegut, LA, Tammy and Craig Babin of Gray, LA; several nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Patti Marie Sanders Carter will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Shannon Pettyjohn officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and after 12:00 noon Tuesday until the service hour.
