Patti Rose Goodman Lieblich

Patti Rose Goodman Lieblich, age 86, of Winchester, Virginia, died Saturday, October 30, 2004, in Winchester. Mrs. Lieblich was born on October 11, 1918, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Frank Goodman and Mildred Shields Goodman Goodwyn. She was a mother, grandmother, military wife and artist. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, and the Officers’ Wives Club. Her husband, Jerome Ferris Lieblich, whom she married on March 23, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, preceded her in death on October 19, 2004. They were married for 62 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Campbell Calvert of Burke, Virginia, and Patti Shields Lieblich, of Alexandria, Virginia; a brother, Frank Shields Goodman; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A daughter, Elizabeth Worthington Reed and a brother, Shields Frank Goodman preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Westminster Canterbury with the Reverend Douglas McCaleb and Pastor Elizabeth Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on December 3, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
