Patty Jean Bailey

Patty Jean Bailey, 66, of Lumberport, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 15, 2008) at the residence of her son. She was born May 31, 1941, at Seminole, a daughter of the late Okey Quinn Sr. and Maggie Lindsey Quinn.Patty was a homemaker who enjoyed her children and grandchildren, watching movies and shopping. She was a Christian, and a member of the Owings Community Church.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia D. and Jack Sweeney Jr., Mt. Lookout; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Albert Douglas Jr., Lumberport, Delbert Lee and Terry Bailey, Owings, Kevin William and Missy Bailey and Michael Chad and Jeanie Bailey, all of Lumberport; a special friend, John Hayhurst; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Jackie Quinn, Ohio; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dolly and Steve Adams, Lumberport, Florence “Tillie” Shaver, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. Bailey Sr., who died Aug. 23, 1989; a son, Brian Scott Bailey; a daughter-in-law, Tracey Bailey; two brothers, Okey Quinn Jr. and David Lee Quinn; and two sisters, Jean Parson and Martha E. Sommerville.Friends may call at the Owings Community Church at Owings on Friday from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating.
