I received a copy of the Luther College magazine a couple of months ago and saw that Paul had passed away. It has been awhile, but I went to school with him at Luther.

One story that I have always remembered about Paul was at a football game. The homecoming queen asked me to escort her on to the field at half time. I said no because I knew that there would be a great amount of fun by others at her with the introduction. Paul was asked next. He said yes and calmly walked on to the field with the young lady's arm around his. Sure enough, there was things said but it did not bother neither Paul or Heather. He escorted her off the field with the same manner as her brought her on.

I always wished that I had done the thing that Paul was so willing to do.

I wish his family the best.

Sincerely,

We wish to extend our sincere sympathy in the loss of Paul. I will always treasure the summer of 1956, I spent with the Albertson family at Lake Katepwa when you lived in Regina. Paul & Pat were about 5 and Nancy a baby. Barbara,- the fun we had. Graham spent to most of that summer in the hospital. That wonderful dog you had, Kie. Betty I think of that summer with you often.
