Corydon - Paul Vernon Arnold, aged 74, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Corydon, IN. Born on February 15, 1951, Paul was known as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family deeply.

Paul graduated from Bedford High School and proudly served in the US Navy. He was a lifelong fan of baseball, both as a spectator and as a collector of baseball cards, a hobby that brought him much joy throughout his years.

Paul is survived by his wife, Debra Sue Arnold; son, John Harold Arnold; daughter, Jessica Hope Arnold; and grandchildren, Jeremiah Chase Arnold, Serra Marie Arnold, Lucas Victor Arnold, Oliver Quinn Russell, and Juliet Hope Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce Marie Arnold and John Edward Arnold.

A gathering to honor and celebrate Paul's life will be held at Wilson Park in Bedford, IN on Friday July 25th from 11am to 3pm. This will be an open-house style gathering with light refreshments, shared memories and love. A short remembrance with take place at 11:30 led by John Arnold and family. Paul's family invites those who knew him to join in remembering his warm spirit and enduring love for his family. Come as you are as this is how he'd have preferred things to be.

We were very lucky to be born into this family. We are a crazy bunch and I love every minute of it. Paul Vernon was NEVER without a smile or a laugh. Truly a good man. He will be missed.
