I'm the oldest of our late father Thomas A. Baker's four children, and Paul was my half-brother whom I only met once, in 1987, when I also met my biodad, other siblings, and nephews for the first time. Paul and I spoke at length on the phone and texted around the time our father died. Nevertheless, when I learned of Paul's death on Dec. 7, I was aggrieved by the loss of my youngest sibling as being outside the normal course of events. Besides, 65 seems too young nowadays. Claudia, their children, and the Baker family are in my thoughts and meditations, especially during this holiday season.
