Paul was my first singing buddy. We sang in churches, in school, under trees, on street corners and whether anyone was listening or not. I thought I'd include a photo from that time. See you soon old buddy. Maybe we'll be singing together again somewhere. Bill "Little Brother" Withers

Uncle Paul was always so special to me. I remember how he lit up a room. If my dad said Uncle Paul was coming I couldn't contain myself. He knew how to make you feel you were the only one in the room when he talked to you no matter how many others were there. And there was always a bunch of us waiting for him to arrive. I am so glad I got to spend some time with him before he went home to be with the Lord. Uncle Paul you will be greatly missed. I pray God's peace and understanding for all who loved and knew you especially your family. Rest in Peace Uncle Paul. I love you.

I can remember as a young boy how cool you were. I always looked forward to your visits, because you were so much fun. I didn't see you much during my adult years ,but from all that I've heard since your passing ,you were still the cool uncle Paul and the cool Pops. I am so glad that I got to spend time with you just before your passing. You will be missed by all that knew you.Now you and all of your loved ones that are already in heaven can reunite again. I ask that God put his arms around all that knew you and give them strength during this most difficult time....RIP uncle Paul...I love you.
