Paul F. Carroll

Paul Francis Carroll, age 59, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham. He was the husband of Coreen Marie Gallagher of Framingham. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late William and Alice M. (Coughlin) Carroll. Paul was a graduate of Framingham North High School class of 1975 and the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology class of 1978. Paul worked for the MBTA from 1978 until his retirement in 2006 as a diesel mechanic. He helped everyone who asked, big or small, he was always there for everyone day or night. Paul enjoyed fishing, camping, days spent on Nauset Beach on Cape Cod and telling stories. He loved his dog Sadie very much. He was a member of the Mass Beach Buggy Association, Mass Striped Bass Association and the Machinist Union Local 264, Boston. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Alicia N. Carroll of Sandwich, Matthew P. and Patrick J. Carroll both of Framingham and Kelley Elliot of Framingham. He is also survived by his siblings, Joann Fagan and her husband Steve of Yarmouthport, Micci Miller of FL, Linda Fuery and her husband Brian of FL, William Carroll, III and his wife Ann of Brewster, Mary Cantin and her husband Norman of Brewster, Barbara Conway and her husband Bill of Ashland, Colleen Carroll of Duxbury and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Saturday, July 23, at 10 AM in St. Stephen's Church, Concord St. (Rt. 126), Framingham. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., (corner of Union Ave) Framingham will be Friday from 4 | 7 PM.
