Paul R., Chomko, Esq. of Stoneham, MA passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 56. He was the beloved husband of Noreen (Flanagan) Chomko, the loving son of Elizabeth "Betty" (Bulger) Chomko of Winchester and the late Roger Chomko, the devoted brother of the late Peter R. Chomko, and the son-in-law of Margaret "Rita" Flanagan of Stoneham and the late Ronald Flanagan. Paul is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and seven nieces and nephews. Paul was a 1983 graduate of Boston Latin School—one of his proudest accomplishments. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1987 and from the Massachusetts School of Law in 1997. He practiced law in Boston for twenty-three years. Prior to starting his law practice, he owned a cold storage warehouse business in Boston. Paul was raised in Jamaica Plain and maintained his deep roots to his Moss Hill friends who meant the world to him. Paul had a passion for knowledge and had an inquisitive mind like no other. His quick-witted sense of humor brought many laughs to his family and friends. Paul enjoyed spending time at the ocean and cherished all the memories of get-togethers at his family home in Marshfield. He was an avid and enthusiastic Boston sports fan, especially for the Patriots and Bruins. Paul was well loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 1 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. A Funeral Mass celebrating Paul's life will be held on Tuesday, February 2 at 10 A.M. in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham. Due to COVID-19 regulations, interment will be private at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Paul to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or at www.jimmyfund.org/gift.

Betty and Noreen, I am so sorry to learn Paul has passed. I'm his Cousin, Christine Maggio, my sister is Jeanne. I was looking for him on line to try and have a family reunion and saw his obituary. I know he is with Rodger and Peter in a place so beautiful that we as humans can't comprehend.

Noreen,
Susanne and I want to extend to you and your family our deepest sympathy. Paul was a fun and dynamic person who leaves so many great memories as a legacy. He could be so inciteful, pensive and deep and immediately become the fun loving and incredible jovial Paul we love. His sense of humor and contagious laugh was a gift he shared with us all. We will always hold Paul in our hearts and prayers. God grant you and your family peace, and know we are thinking of you always. God bless you.
