Paul Corin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 4, 2022.
Paul Corin, 67, of Parkland, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. He died peacefully at Coral Springs Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Bertram. He is survived by his wife, Maryleigh; his three children, Dennis, Steven, and Jaclyn; his mother, Ruth; his stepmother, Linda; his brother, Adam; and his sisters, Randee and Meredith.

Paul was born on a military base in Anchorage, Alaska on June 8, 1955. He spent his youth in Brooklyn and Long Island, New York, graduating in 1973 from Plainview Old Bethpage High School. After a brief stint at New York University, he became employed at Valerie Wilson Travel in Manhattan. He then founded his own travel consultancy, PAACE Travel, based in Boca Raton, Florida.

Paul was wed to Maryleigh Corin on October 11, 1992. They were married for almost 30 years. They resided in Hackensack, New Jersey before relocating to Parkland, Florida in 1996.

Paul enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved cheering on his favorite sports teams, including the Florida Panthers, the New York Giants, the New York Yankees, and the Harvard Crimson. Paul spent many mornings in his backyard garden maintaining its beauty. He had a love for travel, excited by the exploration of new cities and countries with his loved ones.

Most of all, Paul had an unending passion for his family. He took exceptional care of his wife. He never missed his children's theatrical performances, dance recitals, or hockey games. Some of his happiest days were spent hauling sports equipment from arena to arena when he managed his son's hockey teams. He loved his kids fiercely, overwhelmed with pride at each of their accomplishments.

Paul Corin will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. A funeral service will be held in his honor on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in Tamarac, Florida.

Paul was our travel agent and dare I say friend, because that´s how we thought of him, for over 20 years. There are innumerable anecdotes about his patience, good humor, perseverance in advocating for us, too many to mention. One comes to mind: when my father-in-law was failing (he lived in Germany, and my husband was already there), Paul continually rebooked flights for me and my daughter for weeks, so that we´d be able to quickly travel as needed. He did it modestly without any fuss or asking for thanks, out of the kindness of his heart.

Please accept our warm, sincere condolences. We´re grateful to Paul and he´ll be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul´s passing. Paul was my trusted travel consultant for well over 30 years, beginning when we were introduced in New York. He always did a spectacular job for me and my family, always with time to share stories about our children.
My sincerest condolences to his family. I will miss him.

Mary, I am so shocked and couldn´t believe when I heard that Paul had passed. My heart is with you and your entire family. Paul was one of the kindest and sweetest people I knew. I remember his office and desk was always so organized while at work. Very neat.
I know he loved you and his family so much. My prayers are with all of you.

Mr. Paul Corin was so helpful to me in booking travel and managing any difficulty that came along on the flight schedule. I recommended him to many friends that also appreciated and respected his work. Though my association with him was only professional, I enjoyed the goodness of Paul's demeanor. He was always patient and willing to find the best plan for our travel. I will miss him and am so grateful to have had his help for the past 10 years. Thank you to his family for sharing him with so many people and you are in my prayers as I know you will miss him greatly. May God's peace give you strength. Cynthia

Paul was always considered a good friend who just happened to be the best travel agent anyone could have.
Always caring about whatever task he was given. For thirty five years Paul gave his all for any task we gave him.
All of our daughters trips to and from college were done through Paul. We introduced him to many of our friends and they became friendly with Paul and his professionalism as well.
My husband Peter played golf with Paul a number of times. I find it ironic but Paul died on the same day Peter did, a year later. Paul had called me to express his sorrow when Peter passed away. Now I express my deepest condolences to the entire
Corin family. Paul will be missed
