Cunningham, Paul Gerard 55 Feb. 05, 1957 Aug. 28, 2012 We mourn the passing of our beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend, Paul. He was an adventurous person who liked to travel; he had a passion for cooking and serving friends and family. Paul was a smart and witty individual; he had a knack for telling stories and loved entertaining. Paul enjoyed watching the sailboats on the Columbia River and felt at home near the water. Paul is survived by his mother, Christi; brothers, Kevin and Joe; sister, Maureen; daughter, Jamie; son, Sean-Paul; and grandchildren, Ava and David. Paul was married for 33 years to wife, Kimberly Cunningham who passed away in February of this year. May they be reunited in paradise… Paul was an animal lover so his family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Humane Society. Services will be held Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Ascension Lutheran Church 1440 SE 182nd Ave., Portland, OR 97233.

Dad,
Not a day will go by that I wont think of you and mom. I will miss you both forever and pray that you are together and happy. You gave us a good life and I am proud of the people that you were, you were both adventurous and loving. I am sorry we didn't get to spend more time together and do more things as a family. The memory of you both will stay with me forever. I love you more than words can say.

I am so very sorry to hear of Paul's passing! To say im shocked is an understatement! paul and kim were such wonderful people, who i admired for living their lives to the very fullest!not afraid of trying out the next new adventure!Always together,remaining positive and upbeat! The two will be truely missed! if there anything that can be good from this is the fact that kim and paul are once more joined together! my my deepest sympathy to the entire Cunningham family, especially Shawn and Jamie!
