Jack, Lauren & Miller, & Family, I just wanted to tell you that I'm so saddened by your loss of your Dad! As your neighbor, I have driven Lauren home from soccer, had the pleasure of just talking with Jack when he came over and hanging out with Lauren & Lindsey, & watched him play around with Miller in the yard and lawn mower..I called him one day and told him that a lady came over to my house and was asking questions about Jack (about security clearance). I told him that I gave Jack a good reference., He thanked me and told me he was so proud.I told him that he had 3 great kids! He seemed proud. In his voice you could hear him smiling. I just wanted to tell you that! I also want to tell you that, not knowing your dad on a personal note, only by observation, that your dad was always there for his children and he loved you very much. Your Dad will always be with you in everything you do, he is your guiding light, keep your memories because they will become your finest treasures. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and if you need anything or just want to talk, we are here. God Bless

To all the Deming family and friends, it was with shock and much sadness when hearing of Paul's passing. My deepest sympathies and warm wishes to you all.
There are many fond memories of Paul. Like the time he pitched a tent under the vacation beach house because there was no room inside. Or the time he got upset with us cousins because we didn't want to rent the tandem bicycle at the OC Boardwalk. He was right, we really should of got the tandem bike. I'll fondly remember his good humor and his way of making me feel comfortable around him. He always called me Cuz!

Paul Deming was a Sophomore Corporal in “R” Company during Cadre when I was a knob. Nice enough fellow, soft spoken rarely harassed us, His cousin was Tom Vose who was my first room mate. Deming would come in from time to time to “check up” on Tom but his visits would always spawn a visit from a couple of Juniors like Leo Mercado and of course being Tom's roomy I got the “Treatment” as well... I think it was Parents (it may have been before that but) weekend Paul had duty and couldn't go to the Senior Party so he lent Tom his car and shoulder boards. Well you guessed it. The SGT of Lassane Gate stopped Tom and asked him if the “car belonged to a Upper classman”(he knew Tom was a knob but was trying like anything to let him off the hook) but as luck would have it I think it was Col Dick was out and about and Heard Tom answer to the SLG “Sir,Yes, Sir” of course at that point he had no choice but to bust Tom, who gave up Paul... Both received 40 tour(max punishment) Tom was transferred to “M” Company, and Paul was transferred to “B” company. Both receive amnesty when Prince Charles arrived an I think neither walked or only walked like 3-10 of the 40 when granted clemency. He really was a nice guy.. Vose made it through Freshman year but never came back, he proved he could make it... I pray for Paul's Family may God Bless you all

I've had the pleasure of working with Paul for the past two years. My fondest memory will always be when he rewarded me with a “prize” for meeting a very strict deadline he had imposed. He presented me with a plastic, battery-operated, bubble-blowing gun! It's one of the best gifts I've ever received because it reminds me of pure simple joy.
To celebrate graduation one year, the finance department employees brought in graduation photos of ourselves and spent the day reminiscing about our youth. Paul proudly told me about creating the Valhalla Viking high school mascot. He also shared his college graduation photo with us. Both photos have been uploaded to the photo gallery.
Paul's memory will be treasured.
