Paul Dunn Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 29, 2025.
Paul Arthur Dunn, 81, passed away on April 24, 2025, in Sun City West, Arizona. Born on February 9, 1944, in Medford, Massachusetts, Paul lived a life marked by service, dedication to family, and an enduring sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew them.

Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force for 26 years, rising to the distinguished rank of Chief Master Sergeant. A veteran of the Vietnam War, his military career was defined by honor and commitment to his country. After retiring from the Air Force, Paul embarked on a second career as a financial planner with First Command. For 17 years, he guided countless families toward financial freedom with integrity and care.

Known for his quick wit and boundless humor, Paul had a gift for making people laugh. Whether sharing a well-timed joke or lightening the mood with a clever quip, he brought warmth and levity wherever he went.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Beth; his daughter Paula (Tracey); sons Chris (Hilda), Shawn (Danica), and Josh (Chanel); and grandchildren Megan, Andrew, Katelee, Parker, Carson, and Avery. His family was a source of immense pride and joy.

A memorial service celebrating Paul's life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM at West Valley Community Church, located at 19956 W McDowell Rd in Buckeye, Arizona. Lunch and refreshments will be provided following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association-or simply through acts of kindness within your community-in honor of Paul's generous spirit.

May his memory bring comfort and laughter to those who knew him.

Our condolences to the Dunn Family. Joyce and I were saddened to learn of Paul´s passing. We have many fond memories of our times together at Lowry AFB and Taiwan. His outgoing warm personality made him to be a joy around. Paul always told people that his middle initial stood for "Adorable." Paul´s investigative expertise made him an effective investigator resulting in the resolution of many complex investigations.

Oh Pauly you will be missed by many. So many memories over the years. Lots of good times, good laughs, good family events, and vacations. You will be remembered for many reasons but the main one is the kindness with your big heart . I will treasure our phone conversation a few weeks before you left us. We will miss the phone calls checking on your truck. RIP Dear fly high Paul! Until we meet again.
