VERO BEACH, Fla. — Paul D. Fallon, 81, died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach, Fla. surrounded by his loving wife, Pauline, and his daughters, Patricia and Lynn.
He was born in Medford, son of the late Thomas and Mary (Dineen) Fallon. He grew up in Gardner and resided in Methuen before moving to Wolfeboro, N.H. in 1981.
He was a graduate of Lowell Technological Institute, Lowell, and was employed at NBC Studios in Chicago, Simplex Time, Gardner, and retired from Western Electric, North Andover, in 1982.
He served in the Navy in World War II.
He was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Alton, N.H. and also attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Paul was deeply immersed in his Catholic faith, often attending daily Mass and with his wife Pauline, maintained St. Cecelia Church in Wolfeboro for many years.
Paul was an avid golfer, belong to various golf leagues and groups over the years, with summers in Wolfeboro and winters in Vero Beach he felt he was enjoying the best of both worlds. He also truly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, and looked forward to meeting his new, great-grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline (Robichaud) Fallon of Wolfeboro, N.H., daughters Patricia and her husband Mark Mondro, of Concord, N.H., and Lynn and her husband Russell Bennett of Wolfeboro, N.H., granddaughters Lianne Bennett, Krista and her husband Joshua Rogers of Methuen, Laura Mondro of Hollywood, Md., Danielle Mondro of Concord, N.H. and great-grandson, Joshua R. Rogers of Methuen. Paul was predeceased by his brother, Edgar Fallon and sister, Agnes (Fallon) Upgard.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held on May 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 40 Hidden Springs Road, Alton, N.H. Burial services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Katharine Drexel Building Fund, P.O. Box 180, Wolfeboro, NH. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Wolfeboro is in charge of local arrangements.
