His boyfriend spoke of how Henry inspired him: "He knew I had the potential for greater things. I had three years of college but didn't finish. He wanted the best for me, to succeed and to help me make something of myself. I am definitely going to do that for him. I am going to make something of myself."

Last year, our local Chapter of PFLAG printed 49 T-shirts with the names of each victim of the massacre. I wore (and still have) Paul's T-shirt. I posted photos of the T-shirt on my Facebook page as well as his obituary today. I'll make sure that Taos, New Mexico will not forget him.

Mr Paul Henry was a good man he will never be forgotten he had an awesome personality and a smile that could light any room and I'll never forgot when he made me sing with the sopranos at church after I tried to be a alto for so long lol he was great at what he did and especially when it came to music

To the family and friends of Paul, I send my heartfelt condolences. I was Paul's math teacher in the 8th grade at Madeiria Beach Middle School. In over 30 years of teaching I have never had a more memorable student. He was such a mature young man, so helpful, so funny and creative and a friend to all. He knew I did not approve of students using profanity and I always remembered the day he volunteered to be my official "cuss buster". I am saddened by the news of his passing, but find peace in the knowledge that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I will be praying for God to comfort his loved ones during this difficult time.

Paul is already being missed. Paul served Bethel M.B. Church well for several years. He is a wonderful person which God had bestowed so many gifts. The Bethel Youth loved him because he was a child at heart.

His smile, voice & presences would light up the church everytime he entered! Brother Paul Henry as my grandfather would call him really was a child of God.
