NEW LEXINGTON, OHIO: Paul A. King, 91 of Clover Hill, Ohio died at 8:40pm on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Genesis-Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born March 25, 1920 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late William J. and Eva Katherine Ricketts King.

Mr. King was a lifetime resident of the area; was a guard at Lempco and retired from Ludowici Celadon after 31 years of service; member of Saint Rose Catholic Church of New Lexington.

Survived by, sons, Neil (Becky) King of New Lexington and Larry (Janet) Gardner of Worthington; 6 grandchildren, Arnetta (Mike) Boham, Kurtis (Suzette) King, Audra (Justin) Orwig, Dawnel (Richard) Volzke, Jalana (Andres) Mejia and Matthew Gardner; 3 great-grandchildren, Jessica Volzke, Christopher Volzke and Evelyn Mejia; two sisters, Marjorie (Ralph) Moore of New Lexington and Dorothy Henze of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his wife, Pearl A. Pratt King; four brothers, Francis King, Charles King, Joseph King and Gene King; sister, Ruth Hammrick; two half brothers, Leo King and John King; three half sisters, Helen Cush, Catherine Bailey and Verna Landis and one grandchild, Nathan Gardner.

Calling hours will be held from 6pm-8pm with Rosary at 7:30pm on Sunday, February 12, 2012 and 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Monday, February 13, 2012 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, Main and Water Streets, New Lexington, Ohio with Father Victor Wesolowski as celebrant.

Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Saint Rose School, 119 West Water Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

You all are in our thoughts and prayers, Paul was such a sweet kind caring guy who always had a smile and kind word. It will be sad going into Zanesville and not seeing him going or coming from the barn and that hand going up to wave as u go by.
