Paul Kramer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 16 to Mar. 17, 2023.
Dr. Paul Kramer passed away on Sunday, March 12th, in his Wantagh, Long Island home. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His dedication and passion for medicine and his patients were unprecedented. Unfortunately, medicine has lost a brilliant diagnostician and a genuinely classic old-school doctor who would think through the problem at hand, utilize his breadth of knowledge to come up with a diagnosis, and then take the time to explain it to his patients. Because of this, he was indeed a beloved doctor.

His passion for medicine was rivaled only by his love for cooking, reading, boating, collecting antiques, and sailing. All of which he did with deep joy and derived great satisfaction.

He will be deeply missed by the many lives he touched.

At his request, in his final wishes, there will be no service or funeral held.

In his Memory, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association:

One time the patient before me was an older Italian woman.he finished with her and i went in and on the counter was 6 jars of homemade sauce, complete with basil. He made me take two jars when i left.

Rest peacefully Dr Kramer. He was, just as this writing piece said, a dedicated doctor. Always the advocate for us the patients. He made a difference in my life and I´m sure countless others. Your passion will continue thru your daughter, Dr. Jen, who definitely inherited these same traits as another wonderful doctor.

I´m so sorry Jen. I have incredibly fond memories of your Dad. Looking for a family doctor when we moved to Bellmore in 1989, we were lucky enough to find your Dad. He and his staff instantly became part of our family until his retirement. Not only was he a great physician, but he also became a great friend and mentor to me for which I´ll always be grateful. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dr. Jen, my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I only met your beloved father once, in the office, but he left a lasting impression. He was truly a gentle-man. I think of you often and will continue to keep you (and now your father, in my prayers. Sending hugs and all of my love...Rest in Peace, Dr. Kramer... you will be greatly missed but never forgotten.......
