Paul Meadows, 71, of Glendale, CA, passed away surrounded by loved ones on October 31st, 2024, after a difficult battle with pancreatic cancer.

Paul was born on February 26, 1953, to Earnest and Marjorie Meadows of Los Angeles, CA.

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from UCLA, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from USC. Paul's career spanned 45 amazing years as a Biomedical Scientist and Engineer. Most recently Paul was the VP of Research and Development for LivaNova (formerly ImThera Medical), a global device company creating neuromodulation devices to improve the lives of patients around the world. Paul holds 74 patents in his field, impacting many patients lives.

Paul and Arlene Ondarza Meadows were married on May 20th, 2005, lovingly blending their 2 families. Anyone who knew Paul knew that he was the most loving father, Opa (grandfather) and spouse a family could ask for. Paul was a wonderful neighbor and friend to many.

Paul was predeceased by his mother, Marjorie, and his father Ernest. He is survived by his wife Arlene, four adult children, Danielle Ondarza (Justin Smith). Rob Ondarza (Todd Masterson), Ian Meadows, Brian Meadows, and grandchildren Jack and Sadie Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that Paul be honored with donations to City of Hope (https://ourhope.cityofhope.org/give). A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
