Age 83, on Sunday, July 16, 2017, formerly of Sheraden. Beloved husband of the late Helga (Kraemer) Meehan; loving father of Karl (Toni) Meehan, Rose Acevedo, Carol (Jerry) Mellovich, and Nancy (George, Jr.) Altiery; brother of the late Joseph, Thomas, Richard, and Michael Meehan; grandfather of Ryan (Jerrica), Kolin, Kristian, and Karly Meehan, Daniella Acevedo, Brittany and Chelsea Olszanski, Anastasia and Devon Mellovich; great-grandfather of Giuliana and Dominick Meehan; special friend of Barbara Pfender. Friends received THURSDAY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the WILLIAM F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Funeral Mass in Ascension Worship Site of St. Philip Parish, 114 Berry St., Pittsburgh, PA 15205 on Friday at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

So sorry for your loss. I am sorry that I was not able to go to the funeral home and offer my condolences in person. Your dad was a great guy. I have so many memories of him from growing up. He came in to Winter's Bakery where I worked every weekend and seeing him at church. He was always kind. Let your memories help sustain you during your time of grief.
