I find myself in a state of shock, as I'm sure the entire family must. I had the privelege of working with Paul at I-80 Kitchen. He was a gentle, sweet soul with a wonderful sense of humor. I can't even begin to imagine your grief, but please know that a group of third shifters out in Walcott is keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

My family and I are tremendously saddened and shocked by the pasing of Paul. I am speechless and so very sorry for this loss. He will truly be missed. My brother and I spent most of the morning yesterday remembering all our time with Paul during Quint City Baptist days and after; he was ALWAYS a part of our group!...I am so thankful for all those memories and blessed to have been a part of his life. We will see you again soon, Paul.

I was shocked and saddened at hearing of Paul's passing-all of us at I-80 Kitchen still missed him and talked of him often. All of his co-workers adored him, and kept hoping he would return. Paul had called me periodically since his move to Colorado, and I looked forward to those calls -alas, I moved and so did he-I wish I would have contacted his family here in Davenport when I got his Christmas card returned this year, but you always think there is time later. My thoughts and prayers, (and the rest of the staff at I-80 who knew Paul) are with you in this time of sorrow.
