Paul NEUMAN Obituary
June 20, 1925 - January 7, 2012
It is with great sadness the family of Paul Neuman announces his passing after a short courageous battle with cancer at the age of 86.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Deloris; children Dave (Barb), Ron, Judy (Ken) Wach, Grace (Damian) Abbate; grandchildren Angela, Jared, Rachelle (Charles) Furney and their mother Patricia Neuman; Nathaniel Wach; Seanna, Jordan and Matthew Abbate; and one great grandson, Charles Furney. Paul was predeceased by his brother Eric and sister Hilda Day. He also leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Paul was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1928 and farmed in the Thorsby area for over 79 years.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Pentecostal Church, 2821 - 109 Street, Edmonton with Pastor Les Saither and Pastor Doug Crouse officiating. Relatives and friends may pay their respects one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service with Paul's final resting place to be at Glenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Deloris my sincere sympathies to you and your family. Wayne calaled to let me know Paul passed away and the funeral was today. I have very special memories of my time on the farm with you and Paul when Wayne and I came to spend time with you. Praying for you at this time.

It's ironic that I was fondly remembering Paul as Rose and I were driving home from our daughter's in Rocky Mountain house on December 29. We came via Thorsby and I reminisced the summer Shirley and I spent a week on the farm. I was about 12 years old and Paul put me on a steel wheel cleated tractor with a single breaking plow to open up some new farmland. Had no idea of his cancer until the call came. What a blessing he is in my cinema of remembrance. Blessings to the family.
