Niziol Family, You have my deepest sympathy on Paul's passing. I was out of town on vacation at the time and learned of it on my return. Paul was a good neighbor and friend. He took me to church when I got my new hips and couldn't drive. He was a kind and caring individual, and it was my pleasure to bring the Eucharist to him when he couldn't make it to church. The neighborhood won't be the same without him. He will definitely be missed.

Faye and family, Jerry, Betty and family, Buddy, Rose and family, Bev and Darlene and all friends and family of Paul:
I knew Paul since I was about 5 years old. We grew up together in the old neighborhood of Minooka and Cedricton.
I have and forever will have fond memories of the great times all of us kids had. The parades up and down Minooka Street with toilet paper taped to our tricycles as streamers, the wiffle ball games in Harry Kehren back yard, sled riding in the back alley, hikes on Saturday morning down the woods near Rt. 51, lip-syncing the Dave Clark Five on Harry's back porch with cardboard guitars and organ, bongo drums and pie pan, all dressed in suits and ties (1964), the big ole shack we built complete with a wood stove and full and empty beer cans, sleeping out in Teddy Hartman's back yard after getting trashed on 18% altar wine, our pseudo radio station W-A-L-T and the ever famous discussion hours, and of course the movies we made 'Lifeless' and 'US Guys and the General'. These are just some of the great memories. I kept in touch with Paul through the years and many of the others from the 'old gang'. Just one more. Paul and I were in my mom and dad's basement. I was about 16 or 17, Paul was 15 or 16. I was pickin' guitar and we were singing old, old songs like 'Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah' and 'Oh Susanna' , I mean really old folk songs. Anyway, Paul was there smokin' a cigarette. I looked at him and started singing "Paul sittin' on the couch, 12 girls on his left, 12 girls on his right...sittin' on the couch". And hence, the whole song of "Paul, sittin' on the couch" came to me in that moment. Which later became "Pa, sittin' on the couch". Nevertheless, that song is owed entirely to Paul. Both De and I will miss him. And he is buried about a stones throw from my house in Birmingham Cemetery. So I know I'll be thinking of him from time to time. Whether he was a brother, brother-in-law, uncle, or a good friend, he was a great guy. And may you all be consoled in knowing that he is in Good Hands now, and someday, I think we will all see him again.
Blessings,
Greg and De Campagna
